Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use BriefMeet.io. By creating an account, uploading a recording, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance

You must be able to enter a binding agreement to use BriefMeet. If you use BriefMeet for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

The Service

BriefMeet converts uploaded audio and video into transcripts, captions, exports, and AI-generated meeting notes such as summaries, key points, decisions, and follow-up actions.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password secure and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Acceptable Use

Do not use BriefMeet to upload unlawful content, infringe rights, interfere with the service, bypass limits, resell automated access, or run abusive automated bulk processing.

Uploads and Ownership

You retain ownership of your uploaded recordings, transcripts, captions, and notes. You grant BriefMeet permission to process your uploads only to provide and improve the service for your account.

You warrant that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload recordings, including any required recording consent from meeting participants, speakers, or other people in the file.

Plans and Billing

The Free plan includes limited daily transcription access. Paid Unlimited plans remove the Free daily cap for individual use and support larger uploads. Prices and plan details are shown before checkout.

Payments are handled by our payment provider. Refund requests are reviewed case by case; contact us promptly if a billing issue occurs.

Fair Use

Unlimited means no monthly transcription caps for normal individual use. Very high volumes, around 100+ hours per month and typically the top 1% of accounts, may process at lower priority so the service stays reliable for everyone. Nothing is ever blocked solely for reaching that level.

Resale, shared automated processing, scraping, credential sharing for bulk use, and other automated abuse are not allowed.

Media Retention

You can delete uploaded media from your dashboard. BriefMeet automatically removes source audio and video files after 30 days once transcription completes to control storage and reliability. Transcript text, timestamped segments, meeting notes, and exports remain available after the source file is removed.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create security risk, abuse the platform, or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using BriefMeet at any time.

Disclaimers and Liability

AI-generated transcripts and notes may contain errors. Review important outputs before relying on them. BriefMeet is provided as available, and liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
